They sought a design that transcended the typical sterile doctor’s office environment, aiming for a more luxurious and hospitable feel. However, maintaining functionality and hygiene remained paramount. This presented a unique design challenge, one that MDC was perfectly positioned to address.
A Collaborative Approach: Design and Material Selection
Already familiar with our products, Forward Focus Med opted to source all materials through MDC. They also left the majority of design decisions to our proficient Account Executives, who are efficiently skilled at selecting the right function and aesthetic combinations. Because of this one-stop-shop capability, the decision to go with MDC also helped Forward Focus Med to save on overall billable hours.

This innovative collection provided both visual and acoustic privacy for patient intake areas located behind partitions. This ensured a sense of comfort and confidentiality for patients during their initial consultations, a time that can often be vulnerable and sensitive. The use of MDC’s Performance Textile wallcoverings, too, helped to exemplify an elevated feel often missing in standard medical offices. This convenient bleach cleanability ensured compliance with the strict hygiene regulations. The inclusion of both of these products gave the final layout an extra element of style and uniqueness.
